Hi Todd,

Thank you for the great post. I will put into practice your 5 steps, especially the star gazing!
I love that there are so many ways for us to move and learn on our path to joy and empowerment.

I just finished a great book called "Happy For No Reason", by Marci Shimoff. The message is very simple. Happiness comes from inside rather than external circumstances. I'm recommending it to all my "awakened" friends.

I will visit your site often, keep up the great posts!

Todd, you have some really good ideas. I have loved staring at the stars since I was a child. I wanted to be an astronomer until I found out how much math was involved. Have you ever spent an evening out during a meteor shower? What a wonderful way to feel in touch with the Universe.

Todd;
I love your site and this post! I'll be a regular visitor now that I've found it.

The hardest aspect of meditation is forming the habit. Real meditation doesn't just happen, its a study but well worth the effort.

I find that when I break my habit of meditation that I have to reform my discipline of letting my mind empty of self. Breathing exercises seem to get me back into for most quickly.

Hi Salik-- I can not answer you for sure, but there is tremendous research that links meditation with happiness and fulfillment! It can't hurt to try, right?
