This week I read Time Magazine’s expose on the current state of affairs in the global warming issue (which I will review on WTC next week), and it got me thinking: how much time do we really spend thinking about the things we are trying to “save”?
The answer: probably not enough. Anyway, I figured I would end the work week with a few fantastic and breathtaking photos I picked up from my Stumble-Upon friends. I have added some inspirational quotes to make your experience with these pics more valuable. Enjoy!
“Come forth into the light of things. Let nature be your teacher”
- William Wordsworth
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined”
- Henry David Thoreau
“Try not to become a man of success but a man of value”
- Albert Einstein
“Woodman spare that tree! Touch not a single bough! In youth it sheltered me, And I’ll protect it now!”
-George Pope Morris
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”
- Eleanor Roosevelt
“Every artist was first an amateur”
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
“If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes”
- St. Clement of Alexandra
“Seek the lofty by reading, hearing and seeing great work at some moment every day”
- Thornton Wilder
“When we plant a tree, we are doing what we can to make our planet a more wholesome and happier dwelling place for those who come after us, if not for ourselves”
- Oliver Wendell Holmes
“All Nature wears one universal grin”
- Henry Fielding

Thanks Todd – I did enjoy this post! I always enjoy looking through flickR for photos for my blog. One goal for next year is to buy a DSLR and start including some of my own pics on my site.
